We are looking for a Web Applications Developer. The candidate should excel in all components of the technical production skill set including: XHTML, DHTML, CSS, Flash Action-Scripting, AJAX, Content Management System implementation, and site maintenance and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will have experience as a web master and CMS administrator.
The successful candidate will:
- Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer to support new initiatives through development
- Collaborate with a team of fellow programmers to implement systems such as: content management system, web design, web analytics and classified programs
- Administer various custom applications and migrate existing applications to open source or Linux systems
- Provide ongoing support and monitoring of internet and intranet sites, their servers, databases and applications
- Be responsible for back end database management in a transactional environment, will insure accurate content delivery from wire feeds and various proprietary and non-proprietary sources.
- Be responsible for content delivery and functionality to the site
- Make recommendations on upgrades, policy and procedures, and security related to the Internet and Intranet environments
- Provide ongoing technical support for online and e-commerce development
- Work constantly to improve end-user experience and increase production efficiencies
- Deliver projects successfully and on-time with little oversight required
- Be an out-of-the box innovator
